LocalMaid's Privacy Policy describes how and when LocalMaid collects, uses and shares your information across our website. This includes any information you choose to provide that is deemed sensitive or private.

If you choose to create a LocalMaid Member account, you must provide us with some of your basic information, such as your name, password, username, email address, contact information.

If you chose to remain a Visitor, you must provide us with some of your basic information, such as your name, email address and contact information.

If you are a Cleaner, you must provide us with some of your basic information, such as your name, criminal background information, profile picture, government issued photo identification, email address and contact information.

3. Contact Information and Exchange of Contact Information

We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services, to market to you, to help with the quality of our Service, to prevent fraud, or abuse, or contact you with any new promotions that we may have.

4. How is this information shared?

You agree and consent, that your basic contact information will be shared amongst the Cleaner and the Member and/or Visitor. Conversely, the Member and/or Visitor will also have access to the basic information of the Cleaner. The purpose is to provide as much detail as possible about the respective parties.

As a Cleaner, your basic information, profile pictures, reviews, are public information. Public information is any information you share with a public audience, as well as information in your Public Profile. Public information is available to anyone on or off our Service and could be seen or accessed through online search engines.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

6. How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you submit a request, place an order or access your personal information.

All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
